Nanuk Cases UK are designed and built in Canada, a country with a strong reputation for quality. Plasticase have been manufacturers of injection moulded cases since 1984. Some years ago, they came up with their own version of the indestructible waterproof case, designing some excellent attributes into the case such as the PowerClaw catch solution. The Nanuk is now available in 50 countries and used by consumers and businesses alike.

At Cases UK we recognise that the PowerClaw system that Nanuk have designed and patented is possibly one of the best on the market, in this style of case. It not only keeps the case from opening even when dropped but it improves security as well.

Waterproof & Dustproof IP67 Rated

Nanuk cases are chosen by the military, search and rescue missions, marine transportation and the like. Nanuk cases are recognised to be waterproof, have no distortion and cope with all kinds of water and desert based operations. Whatever happens to the case, you can be safe in the knowledge that the kit inside will always be as it was when you closed the lid.

Indestructible & Lightweight NK-7 Resin

Indestructible, lightweight, and armed with NK-7 resin bodies, Nanuk cases are designed with an ergonomic shape. While they have a sleek look, they also boast thick walls, and oversized details. Whatever nature throws at it, Nanuk is built to survive: shock-absorbent to prevent damage to the case and, more importantly, to its delicate contents.

Up to 10 Colours Available

Nanuk cases are the only brand of this kind that has up to 10 different colours to choose from. Whether it is to complement your own brand, identify the service (like orange for emergency) or a series of different colours to identify the contents, there is an option for every eventuality.

Soft Grip Handle

Made for ultimate comfort and maximum durability, a soft grip handle is featured on every Nanuk case regardless of the size, dimensions or series. Lots of research went in to the development of the right materials, comfort and grip for all the Nanuk range of cases.

Top and Bottom Panel Mount

A popular option for Nanuk cases is its integrated bezel system. Found on the lower portion of all Nanuk cases (and also the upper portion of several models), it has a mounting system for electronics to be mounted. At Cases UK we are able to offer help and advice on any electronic installation, for many applications.

Reinforced Metal Padlock Holes

Available on wheeled and long series cases, reinforced metal padlock holes let you lock down your gear so you can carry with confidence. Nanuk padlocks are also available. TSA approved, these hard case padlocks are the perfect accessory for frequent flyers.

Polyurethane Smooth Wheels

The Nanuk cases with wheels aid the necessary movement of heavier items while keeping one hand free. The wheels are made from polycarbonate moulded with polyurethane, much like what you find on rollerblades, which gives you an idea of what they can cope with. They also have stainless-steel bearings, making them effortless, smooth and quiet whatever the terrain and weather.

2-Stage Retractable Handle

Nanuk cases that have wheels may also have a retractable (telescopic) handle. This offers one handed operation, comes with a quick release button and has an ergonomic comfortable handle.

Nanuk Case Certifications

IPX7 Ingress protection waterproof

NANUK cases can be submerged in up to 1 m of water for a period of 30 minutes without leakage or damage of any sort.

ASTM D-4169 DC-18 drop test

For the drop test, weights ranging from 6.8 to 31.8 kg fall on to the case from a height of no less than 48 cm. Drop weight is determined by case size.

IP6X ingress protection dustproof

NANUK cases demonstrate 100% protection against dust. Nothing gets in.

ATA specification 300 category 1 impact

NANUK cases are suitable for a minimum of 100 airline trips. NANUK also stands up to heavy impacts. No damage occurs when a 6 kg dart falls on to the case's weakest point from a height of 0.5 m.

ASTM D-4169 DC-18 vibration

This evaluation determines NANUK's ability to withstand repetitive shocks that can occur during loose-loaded transportation. NANUK stands up to this extreme test of vibration resistance.

ASTM D-4169 DC-18 rainfall

Simulated rainfall lasts 20 minutes per case side at a rate of 10 cm/hr. During a second test, rain falls at a rate of 10 cm/hr while the case is heated 18 degrees F higher than the water’s temperature. The second test lasts 4 hours. No water finds its way in.

MIL-STD-810F immersion

The case is submerged in a basin of water 1 m deep for 1 hour. For this test, the case is heated to 40 degrees F higher than the water’s temperature. Again, NANUK easily withstands these extreme conditions
