Peli Classic-V 3U Rack Mount Case

The Classic-V 3U from Peli-Hardigg is an off-the-shelf rack mount case with professional grade features engineered to provide secure transport for rack mountable electronics and ultra-fragile equipment. The Classic-V Series has a 33-inch (838 mm) depth frame and has longer shock mounts and a larger sway space between the rack and shell, ideal for protecting expensive and delicate equipment such as circuit boards and calibrated instruments. The hardware and shell of the case comes with an anti-reflective finish to provide an understated look.

The Classic-V 3U case also has four removable heavy-duty castors with stainless-steel ball bearings, along with stainless steel handles with a rubberised grip for hassle-free manoeuvrability. Moulded-in columnar ribs create a rigid shell and also provide secure stacking of same-size cases, whilst practical and convenient coupling latches maximise the prevention of toppling.

The mounting points for electronics equipment are supplied in the universal standard square hole configuration for maximum compatibility, whilst the metric M6 mounting clips create a hassle-free mounting solution. Whilst removed, the case lids can be attached to the side using the designated hanger locations, preventing the case from being placed on the floor in extreme environments. All hardware featured on the Classic-V range is recessed in order to prevent opening upon impact that could compromise sealing and security.

Manual pressure equalisation valves enable air pressure in the case to be equalised to the atmosphere, preventing vacuum-lock and ensuring that it remains easy to open at all times at any altitude. Lids include a fully sealed O-ring gasket that works perfectly with the ever-reliable anti-shear twist locks to further protect your electronics by making the case fully watertight, whilst preventing lid separation upon heavy impact. All cases within the Classic-V Rack range are RoHS and REACH compliant.
